The Northern Indiana Cancer Research Consortium

The Northern Indiana Cancer Research Consortium (NICRC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in our region by bringing exclusive treatment options currently being developed at some of the world’s leading cancer institutes to patients right here in northern Indiana.

Founded in part by Michiana Hematology Oncology, the consortium is supported by six regional hospitals, including physicians, research nurses and support staff, all of whom work together to assure patients in this region have access to the latest, most advanced cancer prevention, control and treatment options. Each year, the NICRC enrolls more than 650 local patients in more than 100 clinical trials, many of which successfully treat a patient’s cancer faster and more effectively than conventional treatments.
